Guinness Asia 9 Ball Tour
Since the tour was sponsored by Guinness last year , no Filipino has ever won a leg.
The 3rd leg will be held in Genting Highlands, TV schedule on Star Sports below;
Friday May 30 - 5 to 9:30pm
Saturday May 31 - 12 to 6pm ( quarter final)
Saunday June 1 - 12-4:30pm (semi and finals)
Since most Filipino cue artist are sponsored by San Miguel Beer, I wonder why they haven't won a leg since 2007? Is it beacuse of the Beer?

I love football, but I need space !
But wait, I need to get up tonight for a friendly between US and England.
( note : Fabio Capello spoke English for the 1st in his press conference yesterday)
Will football have an off season?
The joy of winning a champions league just sinked and here we go again.
A few friendlies and Euro 08 starts next week.
The US big sports, where off season is a reality makes sense.
I love football, but I need space.
Celtics Lakers anyone?

Do we need a Malaysian Sports Center edition ?
Both editions have similar content with the local one having a bit of local football and amateur sports. Personally I don't watch the Malaysian edition and would rather wait for the Asian one.
Why we really need a Malaysian version of sports center?
Why not a ten minute update on Malaysian sports and leave all the international sports news to the Asian edition?
Besides its not environmental friendly watching two shows with almost the same content
running consecutively. Thats 30 minutes of wasted electricity! And the English of the presenters are so bad they wont pass auditions for DJ's on an AM band in other countries !

www.thestar.com.myFilipinos outplay title-holders Malaysia in SEABA opener
By AFTAR SINGH
KUALA LUMPUR: The Philippines sounded an early warning to their rivals when they outclassed defending champions Malaysia 98-67 in the SEABA boys’ junior basketball championship at the Maba Stadium here last night.
The Filipinos, who did not compete in the last meet in Segamat in 2006, trailed 43-47 in the first two quarters.
But the Philippines, who underwent a two-month training stint in the United States prior to the tournament, showed tremendous fighting spirit and maturity to hit back and take a comfortable 72-51 lead in the third quarter.
Cheered by the 100-odd crowd, the Philippines romped home in the fourth quarter for a 31-point win.
Ong Chun Khee was the top scorer for Malaysia with 23 points while Gabriel Banal contributed 16 points for the Philippines.
Apart from the defeat, there was further bad news for Malaysia when Kuek Tian Yuan was carried out of the court with a hamstring injury midway through the third quarter.
National coach Tan Kok Heng blamed his boys’ lack of focus in the third quarter for the defeat.
“I don’t know why my boys lost focus in the third quarter ... it affected our game. They also looked exhausted. Two of my players also suffered muscle pulls during the match,” said Kok Heng.
Malaysia will face Singapore today.
In an earlier match at the same venue, Thailand hammered Indonesia 82-50.
Five teams, including Singapore, are competing in the tournament and the top two will qualify for the Asian qualifying tournament in Iran in September.
RESULTS
Thailand 82 Indonesia 50.
Malaysia 67 Philippines 98.

A Midnight in Moscow
It boils down to the two premiership contenders, Chelsea vs Man United.
I was hoping for Liverpool to push to the finals because I don't want Chelsea who are build by using an endless cash flow. A team made by money to buy silverware.
Too bad the special one will watching this on TV.
