Beat that!

I finished an adventure run last Sunday. It was a combination of road runs, river crossing, trekking, and mountain climbing. I only trained over a week for it that included 10k bikes, badminton, basketball and trekking. Also ,I did carbo loading & sports drink hydration, had zero caffeine the day before. Although I had a huge sleep dept, I still managed to finish above the bottom half way above my expectation of just finishing.

I was also at Sepang last Saturday for the 12 hour endurance race. Check the photo above.

To cap the weekend , Ferrari had a one two, and MU finally won their 1st fr the season.

Beat that!

Mclaren are Cheaters !

I think Flavio was right, Mclaren are cheating from the data they have from Ferrari.
This is based on the short and commanding improvements they have gained despite using Bridgestone for only a few months.

Check the table below and compare.
BMW despite improving have not won a race, Renault took a dive, Honda is sinking.

Mclaren have not only improved but won a couple of races and some 1-2's.
That is enough evidence, you can not improve overnight.

They have data from Ferrari, that is enough to punish then.

Its like I stole your watch but I'm not using it so why punish me ?
Common FIA !!!!

2006 2007
1 Renault Michelin Mclaren + 2
2 Ferrari Bridgestone Ferrari = 0
3 Mclaren Michelin BMW + 2
4 Honda Michelin Renault - -3
5 BMW Michelin Williams + 3
6 Toyota Bridgestone Red Bull + 1
7 Red Bull Michelin Toyota - -1
8 Williams Bridgestone Suprer Aguri + 3
9 Toro Rosso Michelin Honda - -5
10 Spyker (Midland) Bridgestone Toro Rosso - -1
11 Suprer Aguri Bridgestone Spyker (Midland) - -1

Tour de dope 07

I'm a great Discovery fan since the time of US Postal team.
I am glad they currently lead the tour in team & the individual standings.
Contador & Liepheimer made good and guarding Rasmussen on yesterdays stage with Popo helping out in the climb.

I'll be more happy if they have taken the lead with out Rasmussen being withdrawn.
There is really something wrong with procedures in doping in the tour and thats bad.
Rasmussen is champion bec. he attacked, chased and stayed with the top ten.

Too bad it ends this way.

European Grand Prix

European Grand Prix

As I write this, I am not relying on any stat book. The last time I have watched a red flag race was Monaco 2000, The last time a race was so soaked was Brazil 2002, where Giancarlo won a race after a week of reviewing the race.

But this is a race best remembered for the emotions at the podium, You can see Massa & Alonso fighting it out with words. Typical of Alonso he is not Humble when he wins, its just pure bragging. Fernando you will not be a 7 times world champion. To make matter worse Schumi presented the constructors trophy at the podium to Ron Dennis.

This race hurts, I thought we can have an advantage with Hamilton trying to prove that "Murphy's law " can be false.

There is something wrong with the team at Ferrari, The reliability was always great before.
Did Massa slowed down during the few laps before the rain?
Did he thought he was on his way and took care of the car very early?
Were the last set of tires not balanced and the wings were not adjusted right?

After all the drama its a mere two points advantage McClaren.

I can live with that for the next two weeks.

A busy weekend for UK in Sports & Pilipinas

It must have been a nightmare for the UK police & emergency services,
I wonder how much was the cost.

The British Grand Prix in Silverstone, The Wimbledon finals, and the Tour de France,
All in one weekend.

Another superb win by Kimi! and the resurgence of Ferrari. After the alleged cheating of McClaren in stealing some important technical data and using them for their own advantage.
Now that the alleged culprits have been identified, Ferrari have come back to their winning ways.

If I had known that alleged Ferrari Traitor Nigel Stepney was in the Philippines last week,
I would have asked some one to kidnap him and forced him eat "Balut" !

* * *
Who won Wimbledon ? Ahh ?I don't know , I was a sleep after the Tour de France.
How does Robbie McEwen win those sprint stages , Damm he is really good !

Finally I saw the Team Pilipnas Play a game in the 29th Jones Cup on ESPN.
The Jones cup is one of the prestigious tournament in Basketball where teams are composed of clubs or national teams and played in Taiwan.

Last weekends game was played in front of a crowd composed mostly of Filipino expats.
This have inspired the Team Pilipinas with a 10 Point victory over Iran and a 20 point plus win over Tiawan.

Also I have read that two Filipinos have won world championship belts in WBC & IBF.

This weekend are rare for a Sports fan Like me!

Italian Treble

At last my punting skills have worked last weekend!

A Ferrari one two after almost a year.
Kimi showed he can still hold on to his race seat.
Kimi had a superb start and precision pit stop, but was not impressive during qualifying.
Kimi needs to improve !
